WHAT IS BUSINESS TO BUSINESS MARKETING?

Business-to-business marketing is the use of marketing strategies to promote products or services directly to other business, rather than individual consumers.

For example: let’s say a business sells gears that go into watches. They wouldn’t ever really need to market to the final consumer of the finished watch, because that consumer doesn’t want just the gears. They want the finished watch. So a gear-making company would only need to market directly to watchmakers. This is why direct B2B marketing exists and is necessary.

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF B2B MARKETING?

While many marketing strategies that are focused on end-consumers or individual users of products or services have a goal of hitting particular sales goals, a B2B strategy is often more about building a long-term relationship. In this way, it can sometimes be a much more powerful strategy that will encourage years of sales and brand loyalty from business you work with, rather than an isolated sale here or there. The goal is to offer engaging, useful, informative updates and insight into your company, and how they may be helpful to the company you’re marketing to, now or in the future.

WHAT MAKES A B2B STRATEGY WORK?

While all business have different needs, one truth will always remain constant. Businesses do business with those they like. If a company enjoys working with you, trusts your brand, and believes you are authentically engaged in wanting to help them grow and do better, you will have a client for life.

No artificial intelligence here. You will never get a read from me that sounds robotic, stiff, or anything remotely resembling A.I. Why? It just doesn’t connect. A human voice is able to put nuance, uniqueness or quirk into a voiceover delivery that a computer just cannot replicate.

AN EXPERT VOICE ACTOR IN TELEVISION & RADIO

Some voice actors excel as audiobook narrators. Some as anime dubbing actors. For me, I excel as a commercial voice actor for television commercials and radio advertising.

Over the years, I’ve found that my greatest strength is in delivering unassuming, natural, friendly, believable reads, that are just perfect for a wide gamut of products.

As a millennial male voice actor, my voice is the voice of the primary consumer in this modern era. Often, a company will seek out a talented voice actor who can be their “brand voice” that will personify their brand across all advertising mediums. For example, the Geico Gecko being Jake Wood, Brian Cox for McDonald’s and so on. Outside of straight narrator commercial reads, a large portion of my work as a voice actor is in the animation and interactive space. How fast is your turnaround time?

For a project under 500 words, I can usually turn it around within 24 hours. Rush delivery within 2-3 hours is available for an additional fee. For longer projects, turnaround depends on wordcount.

What is your revision policy?

For projects under 500 words, I offer 1 round of free performance revisions. For anything that is a re-write, new direction on the copy or added lines, it will incur a revision fee of $250 minimum, and commensurate with the amount of new recording needed.

Do you have Source Connect?

What formats do you deliver your audio files in?

Any format you like, but generally WAV files, 24bit 48k. MP3 for auditions.

Can you add music, do sound design or mix commercials?

Yes. I am also a professional audio post production engineer and offer sound design, mixing, mastering, ADR, dubbing, recording (in-studio), dialogue editing and audio rescue. Have a look at my post production page to learn more.

How do you set your commercial voiceover rates?

Generally I follow the GVAA Rate guide. For just about any project, my minimum fee is $500 and does not include a directed session. All rates are based on the usage and session requirements.

Do you offer casting services if we need multiple voices?

Yes I would love to help with casting. I have a deep roster of talent at my disposal, as well as an intimate knowledge of best casting practices, and where to find talent, should you need.

Do you offer directed sessions?

Yes. For directed sessions, I can offer them over Source Connect, Zoom or Microsoft Teams. For usage fees over $2500, the session is included. For usage fees less than $2500, there is an additional fee of $250/hour.
